Register to Vote
October 11th is the last day to pre-register online for the election on November 5th. You will still be able to register in person at your polling place. Be sure to bring approved forms of ID and proof of address when you go to vote the first time.
If you’re already registered to vote, be sure to check your registration - make sure that your current address is listed.

Early voting is available from October 15th through November 1st, Monday - Friday from 8AM - 5PM.

Absentee Voting
If you’d like to skip the election day hassle, and lock in your vote early you can request an absentee ballot. We recommend requesting a ballot no later than October 20th, and mailing it no later than October 25th - to ensure that your ballot has plenty of time to be processed.
Be sure to sign and date the outer envelope before returning it.
Absentee ballots can be dropped off at Ada County Elections and Boise, Eagle, Meridian, Star, and Kuna City Halls. Make sure they’re in the drop box by 8:00PM November 5th.
Mobile Voting Schedule
The mobile voting unit will be at the following locations from 10AM - 5PM on their respective days.

Election Day
Tuesday, November 5th is Election Day and polling places are open from 8:00AM till 8:00 PM, and as long as you are in line by 8:00PM, stay in line to vote.
What do I need to bring?
Bring an approved form of voter ID and proof of address (like a utility bill) if your current address isn’t listed on your ID. If you are already registered to vote at your current address - you may sign an affidavit instead of providing an ID.
What if I’m not registered yet?
If you missed the October 11th pre-registration deadline, you can still register to vote on election day or at early voting - just bring an approved form of ID and proof of address.
